After a botched jump attempt Vilnearo asks for a duel. Unedited, so be prepared to wade through a bunch of crap I have echoed in my reflexes for tracking purposes. Mallaidh hits with a balestra part way through on accident, apparently something triggered her reflexes, sorry Vil. He did teleport away though, and long enough to completely heal I imagine, since I just waited for him to come back, so it shouldn't have been a big deal overall on the fight.

After a botched jump attempt Vilnearo asks for a duel. Unedited, so be prepared to wade through a bunch of crap I have echoed in my reflexes for tracking purposes. Mallaidh hits with a balestra part way through on accident, apparently something triggered her reflexes, sorry Vil. He did teleport away though, and long enough to completely heal I imagine, since I just waited for him to come back, so it shouldn't have been a big deal overall on the fight.

He's standing on every attack, actually. I've seen some systems do it. It isn't exactly -wrong-, its just more spam being echoed.

On that note, Visharum, if you're using Mudlet, you can use send("stand", false) And it'll turn the echo off if spam bothers you.

Or mushclient + Lua SendNoEcho("stand"), also you could just add an if check into your attack queue so that instead of standing on every balance, you only stand if you're prone...I just don't see the point of all the extra spam being generated.

Depending on your network latency, it could possibly be worthwhile standing before you're told that you're prone.

I don't stand on every attack, just a lot of them. (Use zmud, btw) I've coded my reflexes to always stand when I am balanced and prone at the same time unless something would keep me from standing properly (ie. sleeping, pinned down, aeoned, etc.) Some attacks, however, need to be perfectly timed. If you grab someone and they start to writhe and you plan on throwing them down, you have to nail the throwdown very very close to the exact moment you balance else they writhe out. So, on the offchance that I get kneeled and am prone after a grab, while I am trying to chase balance with my throwdown macro I feel having stand attatched to it increases my chances of success.

Really it's a habit I picked up from coding in other games. I could remove it from my attacks here and be fine, but just haven't bothered yet
